You've heard of body positivity. But what about intestine positivity? Why isn't it classy to be gassy? And why are certain clouds ok to blow, like weed, but other clouds are shamed, like farts?
Here at the Brap Barn, we treat brap hogs with the respect they deserve.
Ethical Treatment of brap hogs at Our Facility
At the Brap Barn, the health, safety, and well-being of all hogs (or hawgs (or even hawgz)) under our care are of the utmost importance. We are committed to maintaining the highest standards of ethical treatment and humane handling in every aspect of our operations.
Our Commitment
We adhere to strict protocols and best practices to ensure that stinky hogs are treated with respect and compassion (unless subjected to euthenasia due to lack of compliance for brapping on demand). Our policies are guided by applicable local, national, and international animal welfare regulations, and we routinely review and update our procedures to align with evolving ethical standards and scientific research.

Housing and Environment
Each hog is provided with a clean, safe, and enriched stall designed to meet her physical, behavioral, and psychological needs. 14" TVs are displayed in each stall with HGTV playing 24/7. Our facilities are regularly inspected and maintained to ensure they promote comfort, reduce stress, and support natural behaviors. Allegedly hitler gassed the Jews to death, so to prevent our hogs from gassing themselves to death while in their stall, we hook each hog's anus directly up to a tube, which transports each brap into a safe and controlled enviornment.
Nutrition and Health Care
We provide all brap hogs with a balanced bean and ham diet tailored to their specific species and individual health requirements. A trained veterinary team monitors the health of each brap hog and provides preventative care, treatment of illness or injury, and routine health checks.
Handling and Interaction
All staff who interact with the hogs are trained in low-stress, humane handling techniques. Our approach prioritizes positive reinforcement and avoids the use of fear, coercion, or punishment (unless the hog lacks brap-on-demand compliance. Then we instill fear on the hog). We strive to ensure that all interactions support the well-being of the hog.
Oversight and Accountability
Our ethical treatment policies are overseen by a dedicated animal welfare committee or designated officer. This team is responsible for evaluating care protocols, investigating concerns, and ensuring compliance with all relevant standards and guidelines.
Continuous Improvement
We are committed to continuous learning and improvement in the care of brap hogs. This includes ongoing staff training, engagement with the broader animal welfare community, and incorporation of new evidence-based practices. We also offer petting zoo days, in which families and young children are encouraged to visit the brap barn to pet and play with our brap hogs. Gas masks are required.
